account manager (senior) 

Do you want to help companies around the world to tell their story in a clear and simple way? Sounds ambitious, but that’s what we at Funk-e have been doing for 9 years! We ensure that their target groups understand complex or sensitive topics. And you as a senior account manager convince our larger customers by asking the right questions and pitching like a boss!

 

what will you do?

You focus on our larger and international customers and expand your network. You are constantly on the road. By listening carefully, you understand exactly where customers can use our help. You advise and inspire them in what Funk-e can do! With this you apply consultative selling. In addition to pitching our existing Funk-e products, you’re also involved in our research & development projects. Finally, you provide input to improve our own sales process; you come up with new techniques and insights!

You are part of a sales team consisting of three other account managers and a commercial manager. You communicate a lot with creative and marketing colleagues to prepare the right pitch for that customer. Because only when we join forces can we help our customers in the best way! Let's go!

  • Expansion of existing (larger and international) customers
  • Proactively approaching new points of contact within companies we are working with
  • Preparing and pitching price proposals and suitable solutions
  • Ensuring a timely and successful delivery of the purchased services/products
  • Collaborate with research & development and pitch new products to customers
  • Forecast and tracking of key performance indicators (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecast)
  • Reporting to your manager

 

and who are we?

Originally, we were an ‘explanimation’ agency; explaining through animations. We were even one of the first agencies in the Netherlands. And we are proud of that! Nowadays we have grown into masters of explaining and we use all sorts of products to make this world a bit clearer every day. Animations, infographics, posters, even entire campaigns which will bring the target audience from “huh?” to “ah!”. Now we are on our way to conquer the world and we could use your help!

 

what we ask…

  • A HBO or WO diploma (preferably commercially oriented)
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in a commercial role (online media or communication is a plus)
  • Experience with consultative selling
  • Affinity with media and creativity
  • Good command of Dutch and English in word and writing, German would be a plus
  • Determined, strong communication skills, analytical and solution-oriented
  • You know how to do a good pitch-presentation
  • You know how to ask questions to identify problems and you can translate these into a briefing for the creative team
  • You are available for 40 hours a week
  • You are in possession of a driving license
